Your Opportunity - Canberra

Our Engineering and Asset Management team in Canberra is expanding, and we are looking for motivated professionals, at all levels, to join our team (see our note below on levels).

Our team focus on clients in Defence, National Security and Justice, the Australian Public Service, and other Federal Government agencies. We work in partnership with client teams to support the design and implementation of nation-building change projects and to solve complex problems that will shape Australia’s future.

These organisations manage a complex and diverse range of assets that are critical to the capabilities needed to protect Australia and our national interests. We work to find the best outcomes for the unique project delivery and asset management opportunities facing our clients’ portfolios, helping to keep Australia safe and secure.

Your Experience

• Experiences in Defence, National Security and Justice, the Australian Public Service, or other Federal Government agencies, preferred.
• National security clearances (mandatory, current, and relevant to the type of work).
• Relevant qualifications in engineering, asset management, or a related field.
• The ability to guide or be involved in complex projects and client engagements.
• Systematic and data-driven decision-making skills, relevant to your level of experience.
• A desire to foster innovative ideas supporting growth and impact for all.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and determining solutions.

Understanding the level of our roles

We understand that every business uses different naming conventions in the teams. As Engineers in a consulting world, we use the below to help make it a bit easier.

• Consultant = Engineer (or recent Graduate)
• Senior Consultant = Senior Engineer (or Engineer with experience and ready for the next step)
• Manager = a mid-career professional who can mentor juniors, guide parts of a project and has the experience to self-manage their own deliverables.
• Associate Director = senior Engineers and professionals who are specialising in a skill/sector and/or a strong people and project leaders with capability across many areas.
