Job Description
Overall Purpose of Job:
The SharePoint Consultant is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and maintaining KOSTAL’s collaboration platforms across SharePoint 2016 and M365 / SharePoint Online, with a strong focus on enabling the ongoing migration from on-premises SharePoint to M365. The role delivers business-oriented collaboration solutions, provides operational support, and contributes to the design, implementation, and adoption of modern workplace tools in line with company standards and best practices.
Main tasks, roles and responsibilities:
- Detailing the solution design in close cooperation with our solution architects
- Configure and deliver business applications and process solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate
- Support business teams in setting up SharePoint Online project rooms and communities following KOSTAL’s best practices.
- Assess, test, help and integrate new tools into the SharePoint Online collaboration environment.
- Provide user support, incident handling, service request fulfillment, and problem resolution across the collaboration tools landscape
- Conduct system and user acceptance testing and maintain clear technical and user documentation
- Take service ownership of one or more collaboration applications
- Deliver user guidance, workshops, and training sessions where required
Special Tasks/ Key challenges:
Support the transition from SharePoint 2016 on-premises to M365 / SharePoint Online.
Qualifications
- University degree within IT, Computer Science, or a comparable field
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in MS-SharePoint and/or M365 environments
- Interface and REST-API knowledge.
- Scripting Language knowledge (like PowerShell and JavaScript)
- Experience in dealing with web technologies.
- Experience in M365
- Experience in PowerApps and Power Automate
- Experience in creating Nintex workflows and forms (optional)
- Fluent English
- Other languages as per role requirement
- Experienced working in an international, virtual team.
- Confident in moderating meetings, workshops and trainings in English language.
