As a member of our Global Digitalization Team, you will collaborate with international colleagues to design, build, and continuously improve digital solutions that power efficiency across the KOSTAL Group. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Low Code development, you’ll help automate workflows and develop web and mobile applications that solve real-world business challenges—making day-to-day IT operations smoother, smarter, and more efficient.

With every solution you deliver, you’ll support a diversity of business domains and countries, partnering closely with teams from SAP, Production, and Engineering Software to fulfil global needs. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in shaping innovation at KOSTAL. You’ll also play a key part in incident and problem analysis, collaborating with colleagues across the world and coordinating with external providers as needed.

About the Role

Our Low-code and RPA Team is a cornerstone of the Global Digitalization Team, translating business requirements into smart, agile digital solutions and ensuring ongoing support post-deployment. As a Low-code Developer, you will combine strong technical skills with execution drive, primarily within the OutSystems platform. You should be eager to learn, teach, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. You will take full ownership of solution design, development, deployment, and maintenance—actively contributing to the evolution and innovation of the global KOSTAL IT landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and test innovative web and mobile applications.
  • Operate and monitor the Low Code Platform, providing updates and technical support.
  • Develop and support business applications within the OutSystems low-code environment.
  • Train and assist users and colleagues on Low Code best practices and development.
  • Implement engaging user interfaces within the Low Code context.
  • Integrate applications with backend systems via custom connectors and APIs.
  • Mentor and support fellow developers in bringing their app ideas to life.
  • Contribute to IT solution design with Low Code expertise across projects.
  • Work within agile and DevOps frameworks, ensuring high standards of collaboration and delivery.
  • Self-organize and prioritize within the provided scope of tools and tasks.

Qualifications

  • Solid experience with SQL (queries, joins, data manipulation).
  • Proven knowledge in .NET, Java, or another high-level programming language.
  • Experience in OutSystems or other low-code platforms is a plus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in web development.
  • Skills with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
  • Experience in front-end and UI development.
  • Basic understanding of SAP and core SAP processes.
  • Familiarity with Windows Server administration is an advantage.
  • ~3 years of development experience in relevant roles.
  • Mobile development experience is a plus.
  • Must be fluent in English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
