Job Description

  • Finance & Accounting Manager (F&A) is an in-house finance role on the corporate side. The F&A team is responsible for providing management and executives with the analysis and information they need to make significant operational, financial, and strategic decisions
  • The F&A team is responsible for running the annual budgeting and forecasting process for the company 
  • The Manager of F&A will play a highly visible and critical role in providing essential financial and strategic consultation to leaders across the organization. S/He will support all aspects of financial planning, PL review, accounting and other complex economic analyses required to profitably and responsibly grow the business
  • As the business grows, the Manager of F&A will have the opportunities to grow either by incorporating F&A team or into the CFO role of one of KMS software product companies

Responsibilities:

Financial planning & analysis (70%)

  • Financial Planning: Partner with business leaders across the organization to produce semi-annual, annual, and multi-year financial forecasts that provide a roadmap for the company to achieve its strategic objectives
  • P&L Review: Review process that includes explaining variances to plan, providing insight on current and expected trends, and identifying areas of risk and opportunities
  • Valuation: perform semi-annual company valuation or work with the third party to perform such valuation(s)
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct complex financial cost/benefit analyses to support growth and other strategic initiatives; Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement - including pricing/packaging of our offering
  • Other: Other ad-hoc support and studies as needed

Accounting (30%)

  • Establish the accounting structure and sufficiently organize accounting functions in accordance with legal requirements
  • A proficient problem-solver with matters around taxation; auditing and due diligence
  • Be in charge of all reports on bookkeeping and accounting responsibilities for teams based in Vietnam and the United States
  • Create, maintain, and update all accounting procedures and processes for established accounting data & accounting reports
  • Apply and enhance accounting procedures and processes to support all departments within Company and its parent entity
  • Review, validate, and analyse monthly/quarterly/annual reports to ensure the accuracy of financial statements, making adjustments as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other analytical disciplines; MBA and ACCA/CPA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a finance, analytical, or operational role with a record of increasing responsibility. Experience in Global SaaS products is preferred
  • Ideally, he/she has experience in the technology or technology services industry.
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to maintain the highest standard of integrity, accuracy, and precision
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including both English and Vietnamese
  • Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts
  • Highly motivated and willing to "roll-up your sleeves."
