Katalon is the market leading test automation software platform with over 750,000 global users, 22,000 monthly active users and is adding approximately 2,500 users per week. As a company, Katalon has been built using a Product Led Growth (PLG) approach since being released into the market for free 4 years ago. Since releasing the paid version in October 2019, Katalon has seen rapid growth in revenue and continues to see extremely strong demand in the market. • We’re looking for Technical Writers to join Katalon. The successful candidates will be responsible for creating, editing and publishing external audience related documentations for Katalon products via our online manual, forums, blogs and other marketing distribution channels.
• The Technical Writer role is crucial for Katalon products; they translate technical-complex matters into understandable for the layman.  A Technical writer is the one who highlights the product's values and empowers users to utilize the features and be successful.
• The winning candidate should possess excellent English, excellent writing skills, and ability to communicate and work effectively with different roles/levels in software product development organizations.

Responsibilities:

• Write, publish and maintain product documentations, quick start guides, release notes, tutorials, and other related materials
• Collaborate with Product manager and designer to generate and review user interface (UI) messaging
• Coordinate with Product and Marketing managers to implement content strategies promoting product features and enable users to leverage these features effectively
• Work with Executive members to develop white papers, presentations, thought leadership content
• Manage the documentation repository to maintain a usable, searchable and scalable structure
• Keep track of documentation progress according to the release schedule and marketing campaigns
• Edit/Review Product specifications and languages with Engineering team to improve the quality and clarity of documentations

Requirements:

• Experience in writing/editing a variety of documents and styles including manual, online help, process, training, blog... preferred
• BA degree in English, Journalism, Technical Writing or equivalent is a plus
• Expert-level knowledge of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
• Communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
