Joining bonus is 01 month’s salary for the candidate who applies and joins KMS Oct 01, 2020 - Dec 31, 2020

Your key responsabilities:

• Work with US-based clients and Vietnam development team to understand business needs and develop technical solutions for enterprise applications

• Lead the offshore development center, ensure the understanding and compliance of offshore engineers to the product vision, and technical direction

• Accountable for leading the development team to maintain, improve development hygiene, code quality, maintainability of the software suite and achieve other operational goals for the software suite (i.e. ease of deployment, CI/CD ready…)

• Participate in software architecture and design activities with both the client’s technical leaders and KMS onshore/offshore, make technical decisions for the development of the applications

• Actively participate in sprint planning and retrospective meetings. Perform estimate or estimate reviews

• Perform hands-on coding and code review as other peer developers as needed

• Participate in solving challenging technical issues and providing other technical support to our end users as needed

General requirements:

• At least Upper-intermediate skill level of English and the ability to present to client’s technical leaders and executive team as well as participating online conferences in English

• Good problem-solving skills and presentation skills

• Familiar with the Agile development methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban)

• Is ready to work flexible hours that overlap with US working hours as needed

• Successful candidate will be based in Vietnam but is ready to occasionally travel to the US on business trips

Technical requirements:

• Solid knowledge and experience as enterprise software architect with the ability to be hands-on as a developer, a technical lead or architect

• Strong experience with OO design

• Experience with software development principles such as SOLID, DRY

• 5+ years of experience with Java EE and application server architectures

• 4+ years of experience with RDBMS, SQL, and object/relational mappings, dealing with large data

• Experience with scaling web-based applications and web security issues

• Perform exemplary work in terms of quality and level of skill/knowledge required

Technology Requirements:

• Backend: 

  • Java 8

  • Spring Framework 4 (Web, JPA, Security, LDAP, SAML....). Experience with Spring XML configuration is a plus

  • Hibernate 5

  • JUnit 4, Mockito 1

  • RESTful API, Swagger Doc, Postman

• Infrastructure:

  • AWS: Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, EC2, CloudFormation. Having AWS. certificate is a big plus

  • Windows Server 2016, CentOS 7, Ubuntu 16.04

  • PostgreSQL 10, Elasticsearch 7, Tomcat 8.5

• Miscellaneous:

  • Maven, Gradle (with Groovy), NPM

  • Bash Shell and Powershell scripting

  • Docker

  • Distributed web application development. Experience with Microservices architecture and practices is a plus
