Job Description

KMS is looking for a high-energy, experienced software services sales professional who can identify and close new logo prospects for KMS outsourcing and consulting services. You’ll be expected to generate net new business selling our services into the independent software vendor market. We’re looking for someone that enjoys the hunt and is a networking machine. As an Account Executive you are the face of the company tasked with educating the market and generating interest with our ideal customers.  

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect for new opportunities

  • Qualify, prioritize, and close inbound opportunities

  • Understand and effectively communicate our offerings to a variety of prospects

  • Conduct sales discussions, identify appropriate client needs and involve the right SMEs to demonstrate our capabilities

  • Build and / or assist in the creation and delivery of presentations, proposals, SOW’s, etc.

  • Run the sales cycle, including presenting contracts and negotiating with prospects

  • Forecast revenues in a timely and accurate manner leveraging our CRM system

  • Build and foster internal relationships with SMEs and onshore / offshore delivery teams

  • Travel outside of Atlanta 25% 

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven success hunting and building networks

  • Consistent high performance against sales quotas driven by C-Level and VP level relationships 

  • 7-10 years in a Relationship Management, Account Executive, Customer Success, or similar role

  • Experience working with both mid-size and large enterprise companies

  • Experience in services preferred, with a preference for offshore development services experience 

  • Technical acumen a plus, including an understanding of software development and testing processes and tools

  • Empathetic, positive attitude with a desire to help our clients reach their goals

  • Innovative and creative thinker who can work independently and leverage resources wisely to meet objectives

  • Proven ability to assess and disqualify customers / opportunities under minimum guidance and high pressure

Qualifications

  • Results-driven mentality

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into insights. Experience with Excel / Google Sheets preferred

  • Strong PowerPoint/Google Slides skills

  • Comfort in an agile environment 

  • Ability to participate actively in technical conversations

  • Exceptional communication skills, highly organized, collaborative and detail oriented
