Job Description
Instructional Delivery and Assessment
- Facilitate online platform to guide credit recovery sessions for students
- Ensure that students are logged in and remain on credit recovery platform for the duration of classes
- Assist students with lessons as needed
- Assist students with resets of lessons if students need to re-do the lesson
- Use assessment data to modify short and long-term plans in order to promote all students’ academic performance
- Embrace and incorporate feedback in the spirit of constant improvement
- Maintain accurate records, grade book, and data tracking systems
Academic and Cultural Support
- Assume personal responsibility for student achievement
- Collaborate with administration/lead teacher to promote an environment of critical thinking and academic rigor
- Establish and maintain working relationships with students and families based on trust and respect
- Participate in the daily functions of the school such as morning, lunch, and afternoon supervisory duties
- Attend critical school events such as staff trainings, staff meetings, morning huddles, and any other parent-student meetings and events
- Meet professional obligations including timeliness and consistency in meeting deadlines
- Exemplify the school cultural expectations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Valid Missouri Teaching license with required certification for subject and level assigned. All teachers employed in an approved summer school program must hold a valid Missouri teaching certificate during their teaching assignment. This certificate must be at the proper level and in the content area for the summer teaching assignment. Teachers whose certificates have expired do not hold a valid certificate. Expired certificates must be renewed prior to the start of the summer session for the class to qualify for state aid.

Compensation
Summer school stipend for High School teacher is $3,000 for the entire session.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary for this positoin is $3,000 for the entire summer session.
