In the 2024-25 school year, the KIPP Jacksonville region will be comprised of four schools educating more than 3,000 students, kindergarten through twelfth grade in the North and West sides of Jacksonville, Florida.
KIPP Impact Academy: Kindergarten - 4th grade, 6th - 8th grade
KIPP VOICE Academy: Kindergarten - 8th grade
KIPP Bessie Coleman Academy: Kindergarten - 8th grade
KIPP Bold City High School: 9th - 12th grade
For the current school year, teachers at KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools work the following hours Monday through Friday and may have occasional meetings or special school events outside of these hours. Hours for teachers and students may vary slightly by school.
K-8 Staff: 7:30am - 4:30pm K-8 Students: 8:00am - 3:30pm, Wednesday K-8 dismissal is at 1:30pm
High School Staff: 6:45am - 3:45pm, High School Students: 7:15am - 2:30pm, Wednesday High School dismissal is at 12:30pm.
Every Wednesday is a student early release day, which allows teachers to participate in weekly professional development and content team meetings. *This doesn’t include Wellness Wednesdays when all staff leave at student dismissal.

Job Description
Job Title: Part-Time Recruitment Associate
Location: KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools
Hours: 15 hours per week (with the possibility for more hours depending on the season)
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
Overview:
KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Recruitment Associate to support our recruitment team. This part-time role is responsible for cultivating high-quality prospects, supporting candidates throughout the application process, and working closely with the recruitment team to track and update hiring goals. This role is vital in helping us attract and hire talented educators who are passionate about making a difference in students' lives. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to our mission of providing high-quality education to all students.
Success would be measured by reaching outreach/sourcing goals as a lever for meeting hiring goals, having high satisfaction survey ratings from candidates in-process, and having ‘clean’ application tracking data.
The RA is a part-time role on the Shared Services team which oversees four schools. We anticipate that weekly hours would typically be around 15 hours a week. The RA works out of the KIPP Jacksonville Public School offices on the days that they aren't attending an off-site event. The hours would be set by the recruitment team but can vary week-to-week.
Key Responsibilities:
Travel and Outreach: Travel to colleges and universities to represent KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools at job fairs and recruitment events. Cultivate relationships with students in schools of education to encourage applications for teaching roles. Connect with prospects via phone and email for both current and future openings.
Vacancy Awareness: Stay informed about current teaching and support staff vacancies within KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools to ensure targeted and effective recruitment efforts.
Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of all recruitment activities, including candidate interactions, event outcomes, and follow-up tasks.Use the ATS system (SmartRecruiters) to track communication with prospects and candidates. Maintain clean data in the talent team's tracking systems.
Support Recruitment Managers: Assist recruitment managers with follow-up tasks, such as conducting reference checks over the phone or through email, sending video interview reminders to candidates, and other related duties as needed.
COMPENSATION
This role has an hourly pay rate of $18.50/hr for ~15 hours a week

Education
Associate’s Degree Required, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
