KIPP TEAM & Family seeks a full-time KIPP Forward Analyst to lead how we use data to support our students on their path to college, careers and choice-filled lives.  This is an exciting and fast-paced role that will drive how our organization uses data and systems to improve the KIPP Forward department, consisting of 3 teams supporting High School, College Placement and Career.

This is a primary remote role that may have up to 8-10 travel requirements per year for in-person professional development and meetings.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Track and analyze key metrics (ex: college & career applications, acceptances, matriculations, enrollment, persistence, and graduation/completion)
• Act as primary owner of KIPP Forward data systems, including the Salesforce Alumni Database
• Develop solutions that drive a sustainable data culture across the team
• Train KIPP Forward teams to develop sustainable and efficient data practices
• Design and implement best fit data solutions to support complex tracking, auditing and reporting needs
• Execute high-stakes data reporting for Board and other stakeholders in collaboration with the Managing Director of KIPP Forward
• Collaborate with KIPP Team and Family’s Data team to align data tools and approaches to data collection and management across student information systems
• Create reports, dashboards and analysis tools to help KIPP Forward teams make informed decisions and effective day-to-day operations
• Build trust and work directly with a wide range of stakeholders across Data Team, Development Team, KIPP Foundation, vendors, etc.

Must haves:

• Experience in implementing business systems/applications, coordinating integrations, providing routine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Ability to quickly learn the basics of unfamiliar specialized systems and software platforms
• Ability to approach challenges as a systems thinker: a determined problem-solver with ability to create and collaborate on solutions, sometimes with limited time and resources
• Experience using spreadsheets to analyze data and improve data management
• Experience working in the college and career access/success sector
• Strong understanding of database management systems, database structures, principles, and practices
• Proficient with core Google Workspace Apps, including: Sheets, Slides, Forms, Docs, and Drive
• Collaborative working style with a strong drive to learn and share knowledge
• Highly self-motivated and directed, with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent communicator with the ability to explain complex, technical ideas to a non-technical audience
• Ability to use quantitative methods for research and problem solving
• The ability to provide constructive feedback to improve performance
