Job Description

KIPP Miami seeks an Executive Assistant (EA) to support our Executive Director (ED) and regional leadership team as we expand our TEAM and family! The EA is a key member of the KIPP Miami regional leadership team as they will support the ED directly with administrative tasks, regional projects/events, and data management. As they will support the ED by managing smooth, efficient, and effective systems, this role will be an integral factor in the success of the regional team. 

We are looking to fill this role immediately, but the start date is negotiable for the right candidate. 

Below are some of the main responsibilities of the EA: 

  • Manage the calendar of the Executive Director (ED)
  • Ensure that the ED is spending the majority of their time on priority focus areas
  • Integrate key regional and school-based events and priorities into the calendar of the ED 
  • Create meeting agendas 
  • Pull data from dashboards prior to meetings and add to agendas per specific instructions ● Capture notes and action steps during regional meetings 
  • Hold stakeholders accountable to key tasks such as updating dashboards prior to meetings, etc. 
  • Provide logistical support for regional and school-based projects and events
  • Play a key role in regional initiatives and projects, such as the launch of Saturday School, our tutoring intervention program, etc.
  • Manage and update regional trackers to ensure compliance 
  • The salary range for the Executive Assistant role with KIPP Miami is $40,000-50,000

 

Qualifications

  • Tech-savvy: ability to learn and master new technologies and software in order to support the data management and analysis of the ED 
  • Communicates effectively and strategically across all levels of the organization
  • Intermediate experience with Excel & Google Sheets 
  • Bachelor’s degree

NICE TO HAVES 

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish 
  • Prior experience working in a school or non-profit setting 
  • Prior experience working in the Miami area
