KIPP New Jersey and Children’s Crisis Treatment Center (CCTC) are launching a new, innovative partnership to provide mental health services in KIPP’s schools in Camden. Through this partnership, CCTC will place full-time clinicians in KIPP schools to provide outpatient mental health services to KIPP students during the school day.

CCTC is seeking a clinician to provide those outpatient services at KIPP to children presenting with behavioral health issues. Services are provided in collaboration with all members of the treatment team including children, caregivers and school personnel.  The School-Based Services Clinician performs intake assessments, creates treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team, provides individual and family therapy, and supports families to connect with resources in the community in collaboration with school personnel.

• Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
• Licensed to practice in the state of NJ or working to meet NJ licensure requirements.
• A minimum of one year experience in providing mental health services to children and families.
• Experience and interest in working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures and entities including those CCTC serves, school personnel, other provider agencies, payers and regulatory agencies.
• This individual will have strong organizational and leadership skills that serve to support CCTC’s mission and vision.
