KIPP Nashville is part of the acclaimed KIPP Network, which educates 100,000+ students nation-wide and supports students to college graduation through our KIPP Through College program.
 
KIPP Nashville currently operates 3 elementary schools, 3 middle schools, and 1 high school. 94% of our 2020 alumni graduated high school with acceptance to college and are projected to complete college at a rate 3x that of their peers. 86% of our students identify as Black or Latinx and 16% are identified as diverse learners. Qualifications

Key responsibilities of the Manager of Regional Operations will include, but are not limited to:

 

School Compliance Oversight:

  • Manage compliance across all schools

  • Build and manage accountability systems to ensure accurate and timely compliance reporting

  • Facilitate relationships between school teams and key state and district stakeholders

  • Own and support school operations teams with safety drills and safety planning

  • Facilitate state and district monitoring visits

 

Charter Agreements, Policies, and Handbooks:

  • Project plan and manage the process of writing and on-time submission of all documents related to charter agreements, including, applications for new charter agreements, amendments, and waiver requests; charter agreement renewal; and annual and interim progress reports

  • Ensure KIPP Nashville has policies in place as required by federal and state regulations

  • Manage the annual handbook revision process for the region and all school – including student and family handbooks, staff handbooks, employment policies, fiscal policies and procedures, transportation handbook, and special populations handbook

 

Food Service:

  • Manage food service for the region as KIPP Nashville scales to 10 schools

  • Maintain KIPP Nashville’s status as a state-authorized School Food Authority

  • Partner with the Tennessee Department of Education, district teams, and appropriate vendors to ensure high quality, fully compliant school nutrition programs

  • Own the launch of food service for new school sites

  • Work with schools to implement efficient systems for breakfast, lunch, and snack

  • Support in managing free/reduced-price meal eligibility applications

  • Create systems to process family payments for meals

 

Facilities Maintenance:

  • Manage the day-to-day facilities maintenance workflow between property managers, vendors, and school Directors of Operations

  • Ensure existing facilities meet KIPP Nashville standard for cleanliness and security and fire marshal standards for life safety

 

Other:

  • Support with transportation day-to-day operations

  • Support with contract and vendor management

  • Manage SST office supply procurement

Additional Information

Salary is competitive, commensurate with experience, and includes benefits. This position is exempt and follows a 12-month administrative schedule.
