Job Description

As a whole, the SRE Managers are people facing team members that carry the heart, passion, drive to share with everyone they meet the opportunities about sending their children to KIPP.  The Manager of Enrollment Systems will manage system projects and implementation to give SRMs the back end support to ensure the tools they need to be successful are properly assessed, implemented, integrated, and in turn provide capacity back to the SRE team members to focus on leads, events, community engagement, and ultimately obtaining applications.

Key Responsibilities

The Manager of Enrollment Systems is responsible for project management, user experience, system assessment, updates & integration to ensure our tools and processes work together as a unit. They are expected to:

  • Setup and manage systems to support lead generation, lead management, recruitment and retention. Understand the work of these teams to identify systems and tools needed to remove barriers and enhance productivity. 

  • Develop manuals, guides, templates, trackers, infographics, and videos to teach and train users of recruitment, retention, & enrollment systems.

  • Document and map processes through each phase of the enrollment cycle. Audit the processes for compliance. Always plan for and cycle improvements along the way. 

  • Engage in data analysis and synthesis to inform work, team, and organization. Anticipates and identifies problems in a timely manner. Can tell the story of recruitment and enrollment with the numbers. Hold teams accountable.

The SRE team currently works across multiple platforms & will be adding more platforms this year. Currently, these systems are separate tools, which require management, upkeep, user documents, and integration where possible.

This role will start on the following system ownership:

  • SchoolMint

  • RingCentral

  • M-Insights: Setup the tool for lead management, call scripts, call lists, canvassing program, etc.

To be successful in this role, a Manager of Enrollment Systems will bring a track record of detailed project management, systems management, project plans that stand the test of time; have experience building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; and are comfortable working in an environment that requires you to juggle multiple priorities and competing deadlines, while never losing sight of the overarching goals and desired outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional project management skills, with an ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an energetic attitude; ability to work with all levels of the organization effectively and quickly build rapport 

  • Proven experience building operational efficiency while proactively finding solutions

  • Meticulous attention to detail with an ability to produce high-quality work in a dynamic environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Passionate about the KIPP Texas mission 

  • Service-oriented, able to adapt to a changing environment while applying flexibility to work under pressure and remaining calm in the midst of competing demands 

  • Proven data management skills 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Google applications (Sheets, Docs, Google Drive), with the ability to quickly learn new technologies (Slack, video conferencing apps, etc)  

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; plus 5 years of work experience, preferably in a  business, nonprofit, or school operations environment 

  • Must have reliable transportation to travel between campuses

  • English fluency is required; Spanish is a plus

Additional Information

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this role is between $60k - $65k. In addition to a competitive salary scale, a part of KIPP Texas’ competitive benefits options, KIPP offers all employees an $0 HMO plan for the employee only. In addition to our $0 plan, KIPP provides a $600 employer contribution towards a Health Savings Account and a variety of other supplemental benefits such as Dental, Vision, Short and Long-Term Disability, Pet Insurance, Life, etc.
