POSITION OVERVIEW
KIPP Jacksonville Schools seeks teachers for our 5-8 classrooms in the 2021-22 school year. Teachers are usually assigned one grade level, one subject area, and are responsible for creating a positive classroom environment, implementing our curriculum, assessing students, collaborating with their team, building relationships with our families, and other duties as assigned.  Full teacher responsibilities are ultimately outlined by their School Leader.

For the 2021-22 school year, all teachers at KIPP Jacksonville Schools (K-8) will work from 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday through Friday.  Student hours are typically 8:00am – 3:30pm. Every Wednesday is a student early release day where students dismiss at 1:30pm. This allows teachers to participate in weekly professional development.
