Job Description

KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools is hiring two full-time Student Recruitment & Enrollment Coordinator  to “pound the pavement” and engage new families in Atlanta to register their students at one of our 11 charter schools, 10 in Atlanta Public Schools and 1 in Fulton County. Recruiters will work with the Director of Enrollment to engage local communities and actively recruit all students in grades K-8, especially rising kindergarteners and 5th grade students for the 2024-2025 school year. 

Student Recruiters will help pass out flyers, attend recruitment fairs, collect applications, regularly post enrollment/recruitment efforts on social media platforms, support campuses during  high enrollment periods (typically April & May, and then again during the first month of school opening in August) and routinely engage newly enrolled students and families to ensure they matriculate with KIPP in the fall - nurturing all leads and offers with KIPP Metro Atlanta love. Recruitment and Enrollment Coordinators must be outgoing, highly organized, innovative, self-motivated, social media savvy, and comfortable speaking with families in various Atlanta communities. They must also passionately believe in the value of a KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools education and have the ability to enthusiastically share that vision and belief with others. 

This is a 12 month, non-exempt position. Hours per week range from 35-40 for full-time recruiters, which MUST include evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred 
  • Spanish fluency preferred but not required 
  • Organized and comfortable using IPADs and lists to collect family information 
  • Intermediate computer skills to open lists, read them, contact families and record the outcome of the outreach
  • Skilled at creating enrollment/recruitment posts on all social media platforms
  • Unquestioned integrity and commitment to KIPP Metro Atlanta Schools’ mission and values 
  • Strong relationship building skills, with the ability to excite and engage a diverse group of parents, students and community stakeholders.
