We require an experienced Planner to join our company to work on a major structural integrity project covering multiple sites in the Pilbara region. The role would be FIFO from Perth WA, on a 2 weeks on / 1 week off roster.

The ideal candidate will have

Experience scheduling high volume scaffoldng, coatings and welding works for maintenance and shutdown projects in the mining industry, and strong knowledge using Primavera and SAP programs.

Job Description

  • Ensure the Scope of Work for engagement is fully understood and all planning and preparation is undertaken to deliver the work
  • Prepare daily productivity reports and identify by exception areas where progress and productivity is outside of agreed performance parameters.
  • Plan and cooridnate provision of standard and specialist tools required to complete the scope of work
  • Manage routine quality processes such as Contractor Technical Queries and/or Quality non-conformances
  • Prepare daily productivity reports and identify by exception areas where progress and productivity is outside of agreed performance parameters
  • Prepare document deliverables and close out documents and reports
  • Scope and provide resource and material estimates for Works identified during inspections
  • Work with the Planning teams to ensure that resources are available
  • Assist with the maximization of plant, equipment and labour utilization in conjunction with the Site Manager.
  • Liaise with Logistics Manager to quantify material availability.
  • Ensure timely and accurate progress reports are produced.
  • Assist with facilitating the continuous improvement of occupational health and safety, productivity and quality.
  • Assist with implementation of systems, controls and training to ensure labour productivity is within budget.

 

Qualifications

To be considered for the role you must demonstrate

  • Experience and knowledge in Mechanical works on major projects.
  • At least 5 year (s) experience in a similar role on a large mining & resource project (s)
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and P7 system is highly desirable.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft office particularly Word, Excel,
