Company Description
About Us
KADE Industries is a locally owned Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) delivering smiles across the Columbia, SC area seven days a week. Our team of professional delivery associates, dispatchers, and operations managers works together to deliver packages safely, on time, and with pride. We’re growing, and we’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Return to Station (RTS) Lot Associate to help us close out each delivery day strong.
Job Description
About the Role
The RTS Lot Associate is our eyes and hands at the parking lot where our team returns every evening. From 5:00 PM until the last driver returns (usually on or around 10:00 PM), you’ll meet drivers as they come off the road, ensure the fleet is parked correctly, collect and inspect every asset bag, and make sure each vehicle is secured for the night before the lot closes.
If you like working on your feet, staying organized, and being the person who makes sure nothing gets left behind, this role was made for you!
This is a part-time position averaging approximately 15–20 hours per week, with occasional extra shifts available.
What You’ll Do
Check in with the Operations Manager at the start of each shift and serve as the evening point of contact at the lot.
Meet drivers as they return to the parking lot beginning at 5:00 PM and direct them to their designated parking spots.
Confirm each returning van has been gassed up and that the gas card is accounted for in the asset bag.
Collect asset bags from returning drivers and verify all contents, including van keys and cell phones.
Inspect returned devices for damage, and document and report anything broken or missing.
Collect driver feedback on van mechanical issues and notify the Operations Manager in real time.
Confirm each van is free of trash and debris before the driver leaves the lot.
Confirm all van lights are off and all van windows and doors are closed and secured.
Return asset bags and all contents to the station at the end of the evening.
Complete and submit the RTS Lot End of Night Report, flagging anything the Operations Team needs to know.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Every vehicle parked in its designated spot, gassed up, cleaned out, and fully secured overnight.
Return of all asset bags, keys, and devices — inspected, charged, and ready for the next day.
Real-time reporting of vehicle damage and mechanical issues to the Operations Manager.
Accurate, same-night completion of the RTS Lot End of Night Report.
Schedule & Compensation
Part-time: approximately 15–20 hours per week.
Shifts begin at 5:00 PM and end when the last driver returns — usually around 10:00 PM.
Occasional weekend shifts may be required (we operate seven days a week).
Pay: $17.50/hour
