Job Role
Avicenna is a Pharmaceutical Buying and Support Group for independent pharmacists. Avicenna has developed a price comparison and medicine ordering software which helps Avicenna customers (independent community pharmacies) to buy medicines daily as required. The job role is to work from Avicenna office on software team as admin personnel. The role includes communications with numerous third parties with the overall aim to offer good customer service to our Avicenna customers. Duties include:
- Monitoring daily usage reports.
- Maintaining drug database - amending records and data fields as required (full training will be provided);
- Making out-going calls to customers to gather information and / or detail software and its benefits.
- Setting up customer accounts on software;
- Maintain and manage customer subscription requests and enabling ordering software passwords for customers.
- Working closely with software technical team to ensure maximum customer support.
- Working with customers to process orders for specialized medicines.
- Assisting customer service and sales departments with opportunities on software subscription and usage compliance.
Experience
Proficiency in Excel is a necessity; candidate must be comfortable with the ‘VLOOKUP’ functionality within Excel.

Skills: Strong communicator, well organised, team player, good IT skills, self-motivated, previous admin experience essential
Hours: Full time – 5 full days, 9.30am – 6.00pm
