Job Description

OSHClub in the Baldivis area is looking for an experienced and qualified Service Manager to join our team in a full-time leadership role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an established OSHC or education leader who enjoys developing people, mentoring teams and creating high-quality experiences for children. You’ll work closely alongside an existing Coordinator, providing guidance and leadership to a well-established team within a busy service.

We’re looking for someone who brings confidence, experience and an inclusive approach to leadership. Experience supporting children with additional needs will be highly regarded.

You’ll receive 32.5 hours per week of dedicated out-of-ratio administration time, giving you the space to focus on your team, service quality, compliance and continuous improvement, while remaining connected to the children and educators through approximately 5.5 hours of in-ratio time each week.

As the needs of the service can vary, you’ll need to be available Monday to Friday across both before and after school care periods.

About your new role

As the Service Manager, you'll lead the overall success of your service by:

  • Leading, coaching and developing a large team of Coordinators, Assistant Coordinators and Educators.
  • Driving exceptional educational programs and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Acting as Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor while ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework.
  • Building strong partnerships with children, families, schools and the wider community.
  • Managing service operations including budgets, rosters, enrolments, compliance and workforce planning.  
  • Preparing your service for Assessment & Rating and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Creating a positive team culture where people feel valued, supported and inspired to grow.

Qualifications

About you

We're looking for an experienced OSHC or Early Childhood leader who is ready to take ownership of a large, high-performing service.

You'll have:

  • WA First Qualified Educator - Have completed a relevant qualification to work as a First Qualified Educator in WA in accordance with ACECQA 
  • Previous leadership experience managing an OSHC or Early Childhood service
  • Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Assessment & Rating
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain)
  • National Police Check
  • Australian working rights
