Job Description

An Area manager/Quality Service Delivery Manager is required to provide support and operational oversight for selecting a growing number of Sherpa Kids Afterschool services. 

Based in a number of Primary schools, our services require someone with a passion for delivering quality, dependable school-age services, with a creative and family-supportive approach to holiday care. 

Requires someone who is dedicated to forming strong partnerships with their staff teams, schools, families, and with children. 

The QSD Manager is responsible for maintaining excellence in safeguarding, compliance, quality assurance, programme delivery, workforce development and operational practice. Through regular site visits, coaching, supervision and auditing, the QSD Manager ensures that children receive safe, enriching and engaging experiences while supporting staff to perform confidently and effectively.

The role requires a highly visible presence within services and a proactive approach to identifying risks, maintaining standards and driving continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications

  • Own car is essential for this role ** 
  • Proficient in Microsoft, work, excel and PowerPoint 
  • Previous experience in leading a team and manage staff 
  • Passion for childcare 
  • At least 2 written references are required. 
  • Childcare: Minimum 2 years (required) 
  • Management: Minimum 2 years (required) 
  • Licence/Certification: 
  • Drivers license and have access to a car each day (required)
