Job Description

As an OSHC Permanent Educator, you’ll work at Williamstown service, giving you the opportunity to build ongoing relationships with the families, children, your team, and the wider school community. From time to time, you may also have the opportunity to support nearby services across the region when additional support is needed.

Weekly shifts and hours: 27.5 hours per week, across Monday - Friday before school 7.00 -9.00am shift and after school 2.45 - 6.15pm shift. Extra hours available during school holidays too! We require full shift availability Monday - Friday for this role.

About the Williamstown service 

The Williamstown community is welcoming, diverse, and highly engaged, with families who value meaningful relationships and high-quality care. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of our established services in the area, supporting around 100 children each day across Before and After School Care.

Our services are all about creating a fun, engaging environment where children can explore their interests and build new skills. A range of club programs are offered across the services, including Homework Club, Singing Club, Dance Club and Soccer Club giving children the opportunity to learn, be active, express themselves, and connect with their peers in ways that are meaningful to them.

Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for working with children. 
  • A team player with aspirations to grow and learn in the role 
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!)
  • State working-with-children check. 
  • Australian working rights.
  • National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)  
  • VIC Diploma-Level - Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a Diploma-level Educator in VIC in accordance with ACECQA
