Take the next step in your OSHC career as an Assistant Coordinator in Subiaco.

Our Outside School Hours Care service, OSHClub in the Subiaco area, is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to help support the day-to-day running of the service and deliver engaging programs for primary school-aged children.

This is a great opportunity for someone ready to step into OSHC leadership, with support and training provided to help you build confidence and develop your skills.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 30 hours per week, assisting with the leadership of a team of dedicated Educators.

You’ll work split shifts, supporting our Monday to Friday programs:

Rise then Shine: 6:30am – 9:00am
Stay and Play: 2:00pm – 6:00pm

Additional hours may also be available during the school holidays.

About the role

The role is designed for someone ready to step up and develop as a leader. With support from experienced regional managers and a dedicated state office team, you’ll gain hands-on leadership experience while making a genuine impact in your local school community.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Help lead and mentor a passionate team of Educators onsite
  • Build your confidence in roster management, service operations, compliance, and administration
  • Create exciting, child-led programs including STEM, cooking, sport, art, and craft experiences
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, schools, and the wider community
  • Develop the skills and experience needed to progress into future management opportunities

Qualifications

  • Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!)
  • State working-with-children check
  • Australian working rights
  • National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)  
  • WA First Qualified Educator - Have completed a relevant qualification to work as a First Qualified Educator in WA in accordance with ACECQA 
  • WA Qualified Educator - Working towards or have completed a relevant qualification to work as a Qualified Educator in WA in accordance with ACECQA
