Early Years Lead required to oversee and deliver high-quality childcare within a busy holiday club and wraparound care setting in Bradford-on-Avon.
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and qualified Early Years professional to lead activities and support the development of children within our Holiday Club and Wraparound Care provision.
This role requires a Level 3 EYFS childcare qualification due to working with Nursery and Reception-aged children.

Start Date:

Contract:
Casual – with optional wraparound care hours during term time from September 2026
Pay:
£15.00 per hour
Working Hours
School Holidays:
- 08:30 – 17:30 (Monday to Friday)
- 40 hours per week during summer holidays
- 20 July – 2 September (excluding weekends & bank holidays)
Term Time (optional wraparound care):
- 07:30 – 09:00 (Breakfast Club)
- 15:00 – 18:00 (After School Club)
- Monday to Friday
Please Note:
- Applicants must hold a Level 3 EYFS Childcare Qualification
- This requirement is essential due to working with Nursery and Reception children
About the Role

You will be responsible for leading activity delivery, supporting staff, and ensuring a safe, engaging and inclusive environment for all children. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with Early Years experience and leadership skills who is looking to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the delivery of engaging EYFS-based activities
- Oversee daily routines and ensure high-quality care and provision
- Supervise, support, and motivate team members
- Plan structured activities including multi-sports, games, arts & crafts, and structured play
- Ensure compliance with EYFS framework, safeguarding, and health & safety policies
- Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, schools, and central operations
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children
- Take responsibility for safeguarding and welfare of children in your care
- Support behaviour management and promote positive engagement
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 EYFS Childcare Qualification – essential
- Experience working within Early Years settings
- Leadership or team supervision experience (desirable)
- Strong understanding of EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple responsibilities
- Passionate about working with children and supporting their development
- Ability to lead by example and inspire a team
