Job Description

Marketing & Events Intern (Fall 2026)

This is not a remote position.

 

Jungle Communications Inc. is seeking an outgoing, creative, and self-motivated Marketing & Events Intern for Fall 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in marketing, event planning, content creation, and brand storytelling within a full-service creative agency.

As a Marketing & Events Intern, you'll work alongside our marketing, creative, and production teams to support campaigns, assist with community and client events, create engaging content, and help bring our clients' brands to life across digital and in-person experiences.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Create social media graphics and content aligned with brand strategy

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns and special events

  • Capture behind-the-scenes photo and video content at agency and client events

  • Write and edit copy for social media, blogs, email campaigns, press releases, and promotional materials

  • Support video production, editing, and content distribution across digital platforms

  • Assist with event logistics, vendor coordination, setup, and on-site event support

  • Conduct market research and monitor marketing trends to inspire new campaign ideas

  • Help develop creative marketing materials, presentations, and branded collateral

  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm innovative marketing and content initiatives

  • Monitor social media engagement and assist with community management

 

Position Details

  • Location: In-office (Jersey City, NJ)

  • Schedule: 20 hours per week

  • Compensation: $19/hour

Qualifications

  • Applied understanding of marketing, branding, and basic design principles
  • Currently pursuing a degree or career in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Media Arts, Event Management, or a related field

  • Passion for storytelling, content creation, and creative marketing

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills

  • Collaborative, positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment

Additional Information

Experience with the Following is a Plus

  • Social media content creation and copywriting

  • Writing blogs, newsletters, or press releases

  • Photography or videography experience

  • Basic video editing

  • SEO best practices

  • Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, or Google Tag Manager

  • Meta Business Suite (Facebook & Instagram)

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or InDesign)

  • Canva or similar design platforms

 

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Bachelor's degree (or currently pursuing) in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Media Arts, or a related field

  • Copywriting and/or blog writing experience

  • Experience supporting community, nonprofit, or corporate events
