Childrens Residential Support Worker - Learning Disabilities
Job Description
Jump Lane Recruitment are recruiting for Support Workers for one of our clients who are a leading provider of care for young people between 11-18 year olds with Learning Disabilities.
As a Support Worker you will be responsible for assisting the Registered Manager in the daily running of the home, including staff management, budgets, and ensuring that a high standard of care is maintained at all times.
Requirements of the Residential Care Worker (Young People):
- Ability to communicate with a range of people/young people
- Be able to provide constant care and support to the young people
- A desire to work with young people who may show signs of challenging behaviour
- Commit to working with children who may be at risk
- Sleeping in duties and shift work, including evenings and occasional weekends on a rota system. Based on a 40-hour working week
- Ability to work as part of a team.
