Job Description

Kitchen Manager

Purpose: Raise the vibration of the world

Reports to: Multi Unit Ops Lead/Head Coach AND Multi-Unit Production Lead


Mission:

  • Oversee all food production for a retail location

  • Develop strong and efficient production team

  • Create a vibe raising employee experience, foster connection with FOH crew

  • Uphold all quality and efficiency standards in production


Roles:

  • Oversee execution and delegation for all production needs

  • Effectively carry out all tasks in shop architecture regarding production (see attached)

  • Manage inventory for production and all dry goods

  • Responsible for fulfilling production numbers

  • Responsible for inputting accurate data in Market Man, Revel and production tool

  • Effectively communication with HC/TL on staff and operations

  • Lead production shifts, placing right people in the right places

  • Assist Team lead/supervisor in proactively hiring and developing production staff

  • Motivate and build a highly effective team by maximizing strengths and working through opportunities

  • Demonstrates a constant focus on attention to detail

  • Adhere to all food and safety regulations and uphold quality standards in cleanliness

  • Responsible for quality control for production and final products (dates and packaging)

  • Schedule daily production labor requirements that meet the need of the business

  • Ensure proper training and onboarding of staff

  • Oversee routine maintenance on all equipment, manage repairs when needed

  • Work with training team to continuously improve operations (CI)

  • Pursue growth, through the access to tools and resources

Qualifications

Skills Requirement: 
  • Strong leadership capabilities and a team player

  • Knowledge of food and restaurant operations

  • BOH/Kitchen experience

  • Willingness to get your hands dirty

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, make decisions and take risks

  • Positive work ethic and the ability to take initiative on projects

  • Open to giving and receiving feedback

  • Managing projects and delegating (multitask)

  • Working knowledge of Google Drive and Microsoft Office

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

  • Servsafe certification
