Job Description

  • leads operation excellence: directs efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products from prompt guest delivery within the established speed of service and attention to detail guidelines.

    • provides production direction to team in clear and concise way.

    • sets an example for the team by working hard to ensure swift and smooth production.

    • identifies and resolves bottlenecks in food preparation and delivery to increase the speed of service.

    • identifies and gets the right people involved to resolve shop equipment issues.

    • demonstrates patience and positive attitude with the team while delegating tasks and giving production instructions.

  • leads guest delivery expectations: motivates and directs teammates and shift leaders to do what it takes to exceed guest expectations with food and friendly service in clean surroundings.

    • makes a professional impression on guests and the team through a positive and friendly attitude.

    • works with the team to act on guest feedback and to resolve guest complaints in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.

  • builds teammate talent: supervises and trains teammates and shift leaders jugofresh™standards, processes, and policies and assists the corporate team with recruiting, selecting and retaining team talent.

    • delegates work to teammates in a way that encourages them to work together during the shift to ensure the shop operates to jugofresh™standards.

    • assists multi-unit leader in coaching teammates in and out of positions, making them feel their contributions are valuable.

    • sets challenging goals, provides timely performance feedback and ensures accountability.

    • assists multi-unit leader with efforts to identify/hire/promote/orientate team talent.

    • maintains order and discipline among employees supervised.

  • assists with profit and loss management: follows cash control procedures and helps implement marketing plans, maintain inventory, manage labor, and apply financial controls across shifts to enhance shop results.

    • applies expertise to manage checklists and cash reporting, identifies cash shortages and overages during shifts.

    • creates teammates schedules and manages labor according to sales volume.

    • assists multi-unit leader in ordering, accounting, and maintaining product and supply inventory.

    • applies expertise to identify new ways to enhance shop profit and loss with marketing, inventory and labor management.

  • ensure shop compliance: assist multi-unit leader in enforcing compliance with government regulations, jugofresh™food safety standards, operations, and procedures relating to all shop activities across shifts.

    • supervise teammates to maintain standards and equipment cleanliness and sanitization standards.

    • takes initiatives to immediately act on a violation of safety, sanitation and security policies by reporting to mul and performing short-term damage control scope of shop lead role.

    • motivates and educates teammates to comply with loss control procedures and to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and other teammates.

Qualifications

Skills Requirement:

  • Strong leadership capabilities and a team player

  • Strong ability to root cause problems and develop action plans

  • Experience with managing a budget

  • Experience food and restaurant operations

  • Experience in customer service/retail

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, make decisions and take risks

  • Positive work ethic and the ability to take initiative on projects

  • Open to giving and receiving feedback

  • Managing projects and delegating (multitask)

  • 2 years minimum of managerial experience for large groups

  • Create an excellent customer and employee experience

  • Working knowledge of google drive and Microsoft office

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills

  • Servsafe certification

Additional Information

compensation: 1$15-$18 per hour & health insurance, variable bonus.
