Job Description

Job Roles
• Follow the prep list created by Executive and Sous chef to plan duties
• Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible
• Measure ingredients to be used on the line
• Prepare ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc.
• Undertake basic cooking duties such as blending sauces, parboiling food etc.
• Prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees etc.
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen space
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
• Perform other kitchen duties as assigned

Job Requirements :
· basic – advanced knife skills.
· one-year experience working in food service environment is essential.
· high school diploma preferred.
· verbal and written communication is essential. Able to read, speak and understand the English language in order to communicate properly.
· ability to stand and work in strenuous environments.
· ability to pick-up or lift 25 pounds or more
