Job Description

We are searching for a Security Analyst / Security Researcher that will focus on the most important use cases and trends of Client-side Web Application Security. You will be a technology leader, providing insights, market studies, trends and security flaws’ analysis. Through the analysis of data collected by Jscrambler applications, you will identify new attack vectors/patterns, creating knowledge for all areas of the organization. You will also research the latest AppSec trends to produce technical content to be used in Marketing and Technology Evangelism efforts. 

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data collected by our Webpage Integrity product, identify potential security threats, and deep dive into understanding the latest attack trends
  • Study in detail security reports (both internal and external) to create a pattern on attack vectors, to feed our Webpage Integrity product with automated attack detection
  • Analyze and provide recommendations on complex cybersecurity threats and risks, controls and mitigations.
  • Create technical content and documentation on Web Application Security, and Client-side security threats in particular.
  • Provide training and support material on WebAppSec for other members of the Jscrambler team.
  • Identify patterns that help pinpoint the potentially affected companies and the impact of the security threats

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering or similar discipline; or, equivalent demonstrable experience
  • 2+ years' experience working with software security solutions

 

Skills and Attributes

  • Knowledge of JavaScript and other programming languages.
  • Knowledge of overall web and mobile application architectures.
  • Knowledge of browsers and web page structures.
  • Knowledge of reverse engineering.
  • Fluency in English is essential, other languages are a plus.

Additional Information

Fluency in Portuguese is mandatory, and already residing in Portugal
