Job Description

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will generate and track new business opportunities by following proven processes to prospect into our target markets. You’ll identify and research lists of companies to target, and develop email and telephone campaigns to generate new business opportunities.  

The SDR will manage all sales outreach efforts and will collaborate with marketing to ensure communication meets our outreach strategy guidelines.  

The successful candidate will be a strongly self-motivated and driven individual who is goal-oriented, methodical and tenacious, and can effectively interact with a team.  

This contract position has advancement potential within the company. 

This position is remote. Must be willing to align with US-based hours. 

As a John Snow Labs Sales Development Rep (SDR), you will: 

  • Learn and execute proven processes to generate new sales opportunities. 

  • Collaborate with leaders of the sales and marketing teams to create and project manage campaigns. 

  • Be keenly focused on qualifying leads through emails and phone calls. 

  • Engage with sales reps to schedule meetings, create new email sequences and find new prospects. 

  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects through calls, sequences and meetings. 

  • Leverage our CRM tools to prospect into specific industry segments. 

  • Grow the processes of the SDR role and become a team leader as more SDR’s are needed. 

The role is a strong fit, if you have: 

  • A commanding desire to learn and succeed in technology sales and support. 

  • 2+ years sales support or related market/business experience. 

  • Candidates should have one of the following: software/SaaS experience, sales experience, appointment setting or other related business experience. 

  • CRM and email marketing experience. 

  • A Bachelor's Degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred. 

  • Passion or knowledge of the Data Science and/or Healthcare industry is a plus. 

Qualifications
