We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Fullstack Software Engineer, where you’ll play a pivotal role in crafting and enhancing our customer management, This means bringing our customer engagement and customer account to the next level.You’ll be at the forefront of innovation, collaborating closely with software engineers, product owners, and UI/UX designers to deliver end-to-end solutions that exceed expectations. If you’re passionate about building scalable, high-performance applications and thrive in a collaborative, agile environment, we want to hear from you.

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining customer interaction to enrich the overall shopping journey.
• Enhancing custom tooling and libraries used across various teams to streamline development processes.
• Partnering with software engineers, product owners, and UI/UX designers to continuously improve and iterate on solutions.
• Passion for crafting end-to-end solutions that delight our customers.
• Dedication to knowledge sharing and mentorship, promoting best practices and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Agile mindset with a full-stack approach to problem-solving (with a focus on Back- or Front-end)

Specialisation in Frontend

As a Frontend Specialist, you’ll focus on crafting mobile-first, user-centric frontend applications that prioritize customer interactions and engagement throughout the shopping process. Your expertise will drive our frontend strategies forward, ensuring seamless user experiences across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Building robust, maintainable frontend applications and REST interfaces that adhere to best practices and coding standards
• Leveraging your software engineering skills to develop innovative solutions and optimize user interactions
• Proficiency in React or similar declarative UI frameworks is desirable, along with experience in AWS or other cloud environments

Specialisation in Backend

As a Backend Specialist, you’ll be instrumental in architecting and developing microservices and self-contained applications, fostering a polyglot persistence environment. Your focus on scalability and cloud readiness will empower us to deliver resilient, high-performance software solutions.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Developing, integrating, and operating highly distributed applications, including microservices and self-contained systems
• Utilizing event-driven and hexagonal architectures, along with proficiency in messaging patterns and tools such as Apache Kafka
• Expertise in TypeScript is essential, with additional knowledge of DevOps concepts, PHP, and Golang considered a plus

Tech Stack & Applied Concepts: 

Our tech stack includes React, NodeJS (SSR with Fastify), TypeScript, NestJS, PHP, Jest, Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, PostgreSQL, Algolia Search & Recommend, Yotpo, AWS, Terraform, Helm, Istio, Datadog, CloudWatch, Emarsys and Pimcore. 

Applied Concepts: 

We employ React-based micro frontends, server-side rendering, self-contained systems, and a fully event-driven micro service based backend architecture. Our applications are containerised for seamless deployment and scalability.
