Essential Functions: 

Responsible for ideation/visualization, application architecture, and development of mobile applications for the Android and iOS platforms (phone and tablet). 
Build scalable application & frameworks for iOS and Android platforms. 
Thrive on taking ownership and doing whatever it takes to deliver results 
Work closely with development team, onsite and occasionally, offshore. 

Essential Requirements: 

4 years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years developing for mobile technologies 
Extensive experience with proficiency in Java, Objective-C, Swift programing languages 
Solid experience in application development using source control tools and strategies for using source control such as trunks, branches, merges, tagging, release management methods, etc. 
Proven experience in interfacing with APIs and web services. 
Proven collaboration skills and the ability to work in efficient, small teams. Candidate should have solid communication and presentation skills with the ability to fill in as a technical evangelist when needed 
An eye for design details and user experience 
Extensive experience with technical architecture, design and requirements documentation 
Ability to architect and write reusable library for development teams 
Communicate with Project Leads either verbally, through email or by attending team meetings on the status of current projects 
Must be highly motivated with the ability to work on multiple initiatives with a high degree of flexibility 
Communicate with project managers/leads to determine timeline, budget and resource allocation required by the projects in-line with the overall strategy 
Participate in ideation/visualization sessions for original application ideas 
Extensive experience with Agile/Scrum environment 

Desired Experience/Skills: 

Experience with streaming on mobile platforms; and HLS technology 
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering 
Experience with software outsourcing of international projects 
Experience with mobile QA and UI automation testing
