Minimum 5+ years professionally designing experiences and interfaces for web, mobile, and touch screen applications. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and experience applying them to real-world applications and experiences. A strong understanding of current web practices to create an efficient & seamless user-experience and customer journeys. Well-versed in fundamental visual and interactive design disciplines and principles. Mastery of wireframe and clickable prototyping tools such as Sketch, Keynote, etc. Working knowledge of Adobe CC: Photoshop, Illustrator and Edge Animate. Full understanding of best design practices for production delivery across platforms, ie desktop and mobile. Experience with animation is an asset. Understanding of rapid prototyping in Flash and HTML5. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Has a keen eye and passion for beautiful, usable design. Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Detail oriented, organized and thorough. Work well under pressure, adapt to change, and willing to take initiative. Desire to lead projects from requirements through development. Understanding of front end tools (HTML, CSS) is an asset. Examples of UX and Interface Design via a portfolio is required for qualification.
