Job Description

• BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline

• 8+ years overall system architecture, design, development, deployment experience

• 4+ years cloud architecture experience

• Expertise with programming languages including: Java, C# and JavaScript, Python, Ruby and Go

• Strong scripting skills infrastructure/deployment automation and configuration management experience along with experience working with tools like Ansible, Chef and Puppet, and Salt is a plus.

• Proven knowledge of networking concepts and services for security, reliability and scalability

• Hands-on experience building and managing virtualized environments AWS and or Azure experience is a big asset. Current AWS or Azure certifications are a plus.

• Working knowledge and experience with elastic cloud automation

• Hands-on experience with a breadth of technologies across operating systems, application servers, database and middleware infrastructure being comfortable with both Linux and Windows environments is required

• Experience with build tools such as Ant, Maven or Gradle

• Provides Cloud Security SME advice and guidance related to all activities including Information as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) initiatives, projects, plans, and reviews.

• Experience developing in rapid development modes such as Scrum or Kanban

• Able to clearly articulate technology direction and considerations and present solutions to clients and software teams at various stages from sales to execution
