DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

7+ years experience developing, delivering and operating in production large scale, highly available *NIX based distributed systems 

Proficiency in Java and high concurrency distributed computing and message processing. 

Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and distributed storage/file systems fundamentals 

Strong Object Oriented Design Skills 

BS/MS in Computer Science or related field 

Additional Skills Sought: 

Experience developing high traffic/throughput systems 

Knowledge of scalable, high volume message processing (apache kafka, storm, etc) 

Knowledge of distributed database systems and distributed or shared file systems 

Experience with agile based iterative development and knowledge of software engineering best practices
