What You Will Do: 

• Analyze network server hardware requirements and make recommendations to management 

• Maintain documentation of all supported systems 

• Manage user accounts, creating, updating and removing access as necessary and in adherence to Change Management Policies. 

• Constantly monitor and assess systems to make sure that processes are operating as designed. 

• Perform hardware and software upgrades. 

• Maintain documentation of Hardware and Software assets 

• Test and install issued patches in conjunction with software providers and vendors or other third parties 

You Have: 

• A minimum of 3 years of Windows, Solaris, Linux, Virtualization Env. VMware, ESXI, Xen and storage Systems Administration experience. 

• Familiarity with Oracle, SQL or other database technologies a plus. 

• At least 3 years’ experience in configuration, management and troubleshooting of networking gear Routers, switches, firewall, load balancer. 

• Familiarity with SAN and storage systems, and Cisco UCS compute systems is a great plus. 

• Ability to troubleshoot systems and applications in a timely manner. 

• Understanding of critical IT facilities infrastructure and structured cabling. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

• Server management knowledge including capacity planning and monitoring. 

• Programming experience or scripting experience (PERL, UNIX shell scripts) will be an advantage. 

• Ability to work on multiple projects at any one period of time. 

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast pace, high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations. 

• Keen attention to detail and are highly self-motivated and directed. 

• Strong customer service orientation. 

• Demonstrated knowledge of system design and analysis. 

• The ability to write concise and accurate technical documentation. 

• Ability to maintain professional demeanor in a fast pace, high-pressure environment.
