5+ years of web/java applications development and deployment experience preferably in open source environments (apache tomcat/jboss) 

Experience compiling, building apache httpd 2.x 

Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting apache tomcat 6.x or jboss 8 

Strong Linux shell/perl/python scripting skills for deployment and automation work 

Ruby or Lua knowledge is a plus 

Knowledge and good understanding of SOAP, RESTFUL web services 

Knowledge of nagios monitoring software is a plus 

Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills for J2EE application servers 

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to triage and execute tasks efficiently, ability to multi-task 

Working effectively with teammates and customers located offsite 

Effective communication skills (both verbal and written), ability to work with a global team
