Minimum CCNA (R&S or Security) or equivalent professional experience 

5+ years' experience with Cisco Routers/ Switches 

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience 

Experience with the management of Cisco ASA's - particularly 8.x and 9.x 

Solid understanding of Cisco ACS 5.x 

Must have experience performing software upgrades on Cisco ASA's, routers, and switches 

Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Layer 2 & Layer 3 topologies, including (but not limited to) Spanning-Tree, and Dynamic Routing using IOS and NX-OS 

Must have experience working in a highly available 24x7 network infrastructure 

Strong knowledge and understanding of the OSI layers 

Ability to author and maintain internal documentation such as network diagrams and standards documentation 

Excellent troubleshooting skills 

Able to work independently at times 

Some travel required 

Will be part of 24x7 on-call rotation
