Hadoop developer with sold experience in implementing or running Hadoop for large scale systems.

3-4 years of solid Hadoop experience.

Familiar with Hadoop tools/languages such as Python, Pig, Hive, Hadoop Streaming, Sqoop, Oozie, etc.

Solid understanding of MapReduce and how the Hadoop Distributed File System work.

Experience with Hadoop clustering.

Experience with Zookeeper configuration for distributed Hadoop.

Understanding of Hadoop Infrastructure.

Hands-on experience with Sharding and shard management.

Hands-on experience with related/complementary open source software platforms and languages (e.g. Java, Linux, Apache, Perl/Python/PHP, Chef, Puppet).
