We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced PV Engineer to join a growing team in Brussels. In this role, you will serve as a solar PV consultant, working on a variety of projects that range from hands-on site inspections to in-depth energy yield analysis and PV system design optimization. You’ll collaborate with a team of experts while playing a key role in supporting their clients throughout project development, construction, and financing phases.

• Conducting energy yield calculations and performance assessments.
• Reviewing project designs and technologies, suggesting improvements.
• Analyzing and negotiating key construction contracts with and for clients.
• Supporting project sponsors and lenders throughout financial close, development, and construction.
• Assessing technical risks and implementing mitigation strategies to optimize CAPEX, OPEX, and revenue.
• Overseeing project construction and acceptance phases (PAC, IAC, FAC).
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Managing projects end-to-end, ensuring successful execution from concept to completion

• Engineering degree (or equivalent experience).
• 5-6 years of experience in the renewable energy sector.
• Expertise in energy yield calculations, conceptual designs, tendering, contracting, and construction follow-up for solar projects.
• Strong technical knowledge combined with excellent communication and client management skills.
• Exceptional organization, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in English + Another European Language 
•  Bonus Points for:
• Proficiency in PVsyst, AutoCAD, Python, or DigSilent.
• Additional language skills, especially Eastern European languages.
• Right to Work: You must have the Right to Work in Belgium. No visa sponsorship available

Salary: €45,000-€70,000+ depending on experience and seniority
