We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Payroll Manager to oversee all aspects of payroll processing. The ideal candidate will ensure that payroll is processed timely, accurately, and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a strong ability to manage confidential information.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- Manage and oversee timekeeping systems to ensure accurate tracking of employee hours.
- Handle all payroll-related tax filings, including quarterly and annual returns.
- Administer employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Generate and analyze payroll reports for management, accounting, and auditing purposes.
- Address and resolve payroll-related queries or issues raised by employees.
- Ensure proper classification of employees (e.g., exempt vs. non-exempt) in accordance with labor laws.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure they are up-to-date.
- Assist in preparing for internal and external payroll audits.
- Develop and update payroll policies and procedures.
- Oversee the management of employee leave, including vacation, sick leave, and other absences.
- Collaborate with the finance department to assist in budgeting and forecasting payroll expenses.
- Continuously seek ways to improve payroll processes and increase efficiency.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of payroll information and employee data.
- Manage relationships with payroll service providers and other third-party vendors.
Qualifications
- No previous payroll experience required; extensive training will be provided.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is a plus.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations is a plus.
