Are you a passionate and experienced English Language Trainer/Instructor? Join us and teach in Beirut, Lebanon.

Position: ENGLISH LANGUAGE TRAINER/INSTRUCTOR
Contract Duration: Continuous Project-based, 5-month semester period
(Fall/Winter - Spring/Summer)

TO TEACH
General English (Levels: Beginner to Advanced) with in-depth learning in -Reading; -Writing; -Listening; and -Speaking.

Class shall be between Monday and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Beirut time).

REQUIREMENTS
* Must be willing to travel to the Beirut, Lebanon for a continuous project-based contract.
* Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience teaching English as a Second Language / Teaching English as a Foreign Language to adult learners.
* Must be a native English speaker with background and experience in ESL instruction.
* Must be able to administer Level Tests and provide counseling regarding student progress.
*DLEIC background (experienced).

EDUCATION BACKGROUND: The 4-year degree must be conferred by an institution accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. International degrees are accepted, provided evidence demonstrates equivalence to U.S. education OR certified TEFL, TESOL, CELTA and with five (5) years minimum work experience teaching the field (ESL/EFL) for adult learners at various proficiency levels. This includes planning and coordinating activities, managing assessments, and contributing to curriculum development. Must be able to communicate with and instruct SMSs in American English language articulations, fluency, and pitch/quality of sound that will communicate course requirements, objectives, theory, and content.

LOCATION-SPECIFIC SKILLS:
Lebanon: Knowledge of the Lebanese education landscape.

Testing and Administration Skills: Proficiency in conducting group testing and efficient management of administrative duties, including record-keeping and testing updates.

Communication Skills: Clear articulation in American English, ensuring fluency and appropriate pitch/quality of sound to effectively convey course requirements, objectives, theory, and content.
