Job Description

ember Lifestyle, a strategic Luxury Travel company based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking to recruit a talented and forward-thinking Social Media & Strategic Events Manager to grow its social media platform and audience, create content, lead the brand’s digital presence, enhance marketing and sales efforts and design impactful events and collaborations that align with the company’s objectives. This role requires a professional who can develop innovative campaigns and work to seamlessly blend the digital with the physical, ensuring that the brand shines in both arenas.

The ideal individual will possess strong written and verbal communication, excellent time-management skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. The candidate should have strong English language proficiency, and preferably Arabic language skills. Previous experience in a similar role within the luxury and/or travel industries is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Execution:

  • Craft, implement, and monitor a cohesive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.
  • Create engaging content that stands out.
  • Manage content calendar, post scheduling, and real-time engagement.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media metrics; refine strategies based on data insights.

Strategic Event Management:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute strategic events, collaborations and brand activations that align with company goals, from intimate gatherings to large-scale events.
  • Handle logistics, vendor contracts, and stakeholder communication.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events, ensuring maximum reach and impact.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in social media, working preferably with clients in the luxury and/or travel industry.
  • Proficient in social media platform guidelines (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.
  • Up to date with latest trends in social media design and content creation – someone who is switched on, has their finger on the pulse and can keep taking the platform to the next level in terms of both creativity and growth.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present ideas.
  • Highly organized with an exceptional eye for detail.
  • Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques or styles as per project requirements.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Flexible work schedule including weekends.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

Other Preferred Skills:

  • Graphic design or video editing skills.
  • Knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends.
  • Experience with paid social media advertising.
