Job Description

Looking for a Project Manager, for a project located in Beirut

 

His/her responsibilities:

  • Prepare site mobilization plan.
  • Supervise Site preparation during mobilization period in accordance with mobilization program.
  • Coordinate with Engineering Dept. to ensure that all necessary documents are available to commence work on site.
  • Supervise and coordinate with site General Foreman and subcontractors’ regarding areas of responsibilities and allocation of work areas.
  • Review drawings and specification and ensure understanding by General foreman, Resolve any ambiguous technical issues with projects director.
  • Follow-up with General foreman efficient usage of materials to minimize wastage, and supervise materials storage area.
  • Prepare required Site Reports and submit to PD in timely manner.
  • Coordinate with different Subcontractors work and perform regular inspection.
  • Monitor materials delivery and take necessary action with Procurement Department to ensure no delays will occur.
  • Supervise and implement Safety precautions and take necessary actions to prevent accidents.
  • Make necessary arrangements to ensure that sufficient Human resources, correct materials and equipment / tools are available.
  • Briefs and reports to the PD, regarding progress, problems, solutions, changes, VOs, daily reports, etc.
  • Prepare his needed material schedule with the PCM in conformance with works schedule with adequate arrangements, and plan ahead to improve the progress of activities under his control.
  • Supervise and ensure that work activities are performed in accordance with the construction schedule, latest approved drawings, documents, materials, mock-ups
  • Coordinate with consultant regarding drawings and material submittals approvals.
  • Verify received products for compliance prior submitting inspection requests to consultant.
  • Ensure compliance and implementation of company quality system and project PQP during the construction operation.
  • Monitor and supervise daily work progress and quality.
  • Coordinate with site safety officer and observe safety regulations implemented on site.
  • Verify regularly the calibration of used equipment for testing and inspection.
  • Retain records of calibration, and coordinate with survey team for work accuracy.
  • Ensure the completion of snags identified by him/Consultant/Client/Departments.
  • Define and Establish detailed Project Execution Phases, sequencing of activities in coordination with the PD.
  • Review short term weekly / bi weekly and daily production Programs, agree with PD and review progress on daily basis.
  • Plan, coordinate and control pre-commissioning and final hand over of the project, and ensure that all snag items are completed and handed over.
  • Prepare material, equipment orders and signs site receipt documents.

     

     

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

    • BA in Civil Engineering
    • Strong understanding of construction materials, equipment, and project requirements.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical mindset and ability to make data-driven decisions.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
