Job Description

Scope of Work:

The Junior Design & Assessment Officer at Steps towards Systemization is responsible of supporting in the implementation of management systems. Such projects cover designing workflows, implementing management systems, following up with clients on executed activities, auditing and reporting to the head of department (HOD) and clients on the status of the project.

Tasks:

  • Writing procedures
  • Designing workflows
  • Assessing risks and proposing control measures from written procedures
  • Identifying Key Performance Indicators related to the written procedures
  • Implementing management systems i.e.: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22301…
  • Writing policies, procedures and processes related to the required management system
  • Training clients on drafted policies and procedures
  • Testing the adaptability, effectiveness and efficiency of designed workflows
  • Conducting external audits
  • Writing external audit reports and sharing it with the certification body after getting the approval of the HOD
  • Presenting the management weekly report on weekly basis
  • Sharing the project status report with clients and with the HOD on weekly basis

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Presenting and defending the external audit report
  • Reporting non-conformities during the external audit visit
  • Signing the external audit report
  • Attending technical meetings with clients

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Supporting clients in the closure of non-conformities
  • Proposing recommendations for continual improvement if necessary
  • Supporting the HOD in tenders
  • Submitting quotations and proposals after getting the approval of the HOD

Qualifications

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor degree in business management or equivalent

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role

Additional Information

Knowledge:

  • General knowledge in management
  • Knowledge in process management is a plus
  • Knowledge in organizational behavior is a plus
