L'artisan is an artisan bakery and pizzeria concept located in Beit El Chaar, few meters away from the US Embassy location, Mount of Lebanon. Our mission is to provide the community with exceptional quality bread, pastries, and pizzas that showcase the artistry of traditional baking techniques. With a focus on using the best ingredients and promoting the culture of artisanal craftsmanship, we aim to offer delicious, handcrafted products made with passion and expertise.

1. Bakery or culinary experience.
2. Baking: Dough preparation, mixing, shape, proving, baking, and decorating.
3. Baking materials: Knowledge of flours, sugars, leavening agents, and other baking materials and their applications and amounts.
4. Menu Development: Ability to recommend novel baked foods that fit the bakery's idea and customer preferences.
5. Recipe Creation and Adaptation: Ability to design, modify, and adapt recipes for special diets or seasonal components.
6. Attention to Detail: For consistent baked goods quality, look, and flavor.
7. Time Management: Prioritizing tasks, coordinating with teammates, and meeting production deadlines.
8. Cleanliness and Sanitation: Knowledge of food safety and hygiene, including sanitizing equipment, keeping work areas clean, and following health and safety standards.
9. Adaptability: Ability to work quickly, adapt to changes, and handle various orders.
10. Creativity: Ability to decorate and present baked goods in a creative and appealing manner.
11. Team Player: Ability to work well with pastry chefs, helpers, and front-of-house employees.
12. Physical stamina to stand, lift, and operate in a kitchen for long hours.
13. Customer service: Helping clients, answering questions, and processing bespoke orders with a smile.

The candidate will be ready to bake at our artisan bakery and maybe be promoted if they satisfy these prerequisites. If he or she is not knowledgeable about sourdough baking, they will exposed and trained on various related methods which can be added up to the experience of the candidate.
