2M Game Development is a game development company that teaches students how to make games from A to Z. Due to high demand, we are seeking a remote Unity and C# programming instructor to teach 1 on 1 students from all over the world, mostly based in the US. As the instructor, you will be responsible for teaching Unity, C# programming, and good coding habits, as well as game design.

Job Description

2M Game Development is seeking a talented Unity and C# programming instructor to teach 1 on 1 students remotely from all over the world. This will start as a part-time job with a salary in the beginning as part of our trial period. After getting feedback from students and seeing your work for our own eyes, we can then provide you with more students, and this could potentially turn into a full-time job.

The amount of money you earn depends on the work and effort you are willing to put in. On average, our instructors earn up to $1,200 per month. However, our highest earners make up to $2,000+ per month!

Qualifications

Experience Level:

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Unity and C# programming, preferably with teaching experience. The ideal candidate should have a passion for game development and be able to inspire and guide students towards their goals.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Unity with a history of creating games

  • A history in programming and a complete understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and the Unity API in Visual Studio Community

  • Perfect English language skills since most of the students are from the United States

 

Skills:

  • Expertise in C# programming with a deep understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP)

  • Complete comprehension of Unity and its mechanics

  • A game enthusiast with an understanding of game development and general game design

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field

  • Teaching experience is preferred, but not required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Additional Information

Responsibilities:

  • Teach students Unity

  • Teach students C# programming and good coding habits

  • Teach students game design

  • Help shape the 2M Game Development brand

  • Report on the effectiveness of your teachings

  • Constantly working on improving your teaching style and any recommendation with the course we provide

  • Ready to teach in the late hours for students that are abroad (teaching hours usually are from 3PM to 12PM ~ 1AM)
