Sinbad is a stablecoin payment app built for people in Lebanon and other hyperinflationary countries in the MENA region. Sinbad lets you hold digital dollars in a keyless non-custodial wallet in order to protect yourself from devaluation and send money to friends for free. You can fund and withdraw with cash whenever you want at a Sinbad partner instead of relying on informal P2P.

Job Description

In this role you will lead the full sales cycle and sign partnerships with top local exchangers while being a champion for the Sinbad brand. Your success in this role is measured by achieving and exceeding your monthly quota and proactively building your pipeline by managing and hitting the weekly metrics (cold-calls, emails, and field appointments).

This is a full-time opportunity (40 hours/week), with a base pay of $800 USD per month with a $200 USD monthly performance bonus.

What you’ll do

  • Represent Sinbad as an ambassador and make a positive first impression to establish long-lasting partnerships by effectively communicating the value of Sinbad.
  • Sell a product that has a big impact on people’s daily lives. You'll help us sell Sinbad’s services and maintain regular communication with potential clients through phone, email, and in-person meetings.
  • Negotiate contracts with merchants to create a strong foundation for a mutually beneficial working relationship that includes sustainable economics.
  • Assist in identifying and implementing best practices to facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new merchant partners while collaborating with the Account Management team.

Qualifications

  • You know Tripoli like a local. You live in Tripoli and have spent a lot of time in the city. You might not have been born there but you’ve spent enough years to have developed a deep understanding of the culture while having built a rich network of your own.
  • You are fluent in Arabic and English
  • Show enthusiasm for sales and demonstrate eagerness to contribute to the sales strategies of a tech company.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and thrive in a collaborative work environment.
  • Be passionate about helping local businesses thrive through the use of Sinbad.
  • Display a willingness to engage in direct communication with potential clients, without fear of rejection or cold-calling.
  • Demonstrate persistence and perseverance and be ready to put in the hard work necessary to achieve success.
