Job Description

  • Track construction progress, document commitments, and compare construction forecasts to changing needs.
  • Review weekly or bi-weekly schedules published by the constructor and is acknowledged or dispute where there are inaccuracies.
  • Ensure schedule published contains all coding and details as required by contract and ensure the schedule logic is complete with proper use of lags and constraints.
  • Review leading indicators such as Float Trend, PAS, Start Finish Curves, and more.
  • Maintain milestone documents, working with procurement to update contracts when necessary due to program changes.
  • Produce weekly indicators to be used in executive management report outs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering
  • 3-5+ years of experience working in scheduling of design or construction of projects. Labs, Semiconductor, and/or Critical Facility Construction is preferred.
  • Proven experience in construction project schedule management overseeing the development of project schedules and a proven track record of managing and integrating multiple schedules within complex programs.
  • An overall understanding of the design engineering procurement and construction management phase associated with delivering large projects.
  • Proficient in construction software such as BlueBeam, P6, Microsoft Project, Office 365 suites, and Project Management Information Systems
  • History of strong client relations and people management skills.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills are fundamental to the success of project managers
  • Skills to identify issues and proactively respond to project issues
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to exchange information with senior management, service providers, workers, and contractors
  • Leadership skills to promote teamwork among personnel.
  • Time management skills.
  • Strong organization skills.
